yld dental booking form killed 6000 visitors fixed to $6 per booking

This week a Larnaca dental clinic launched ads for specific procedures — implants, lip fillers, Emergency Dental. Drove ~6,000 people to the site in 7 days. Bookings stopped. Zero. Not low — zero. Ads were working, traffic was there. The problem was the Booking Page. Here is what happened and how we fixed it to $6 per booking in 20 minutes.

What happened: 6,000 visitors, 0 bookings

We drove ~6,000 visitors to the site in 7 days from Facebook for specific procedures. Each ad → separate Booking Page per procedure. Then we opened GA on Booking Page views.

  • >visitors ~6,000 / 7 days
  • >bookings 0
  • >desktop 62% reach bottom of form
  • >mobile 9% reach bottom of form
  • >mobile drop-off 91%
  • >cyprus patients booking from phone 78%

In Cyprus 78% of patients book from phone. We were killing 78% of traffic.

Investigation: opened the Booking Page on phone

Opened /booking/implants on iPhone. The form was beautiful — but very long: select department, select procedure, select doctor, select date. 2-3 scrolls to reach the Book button. On desktop it's 1 screen. On phone 2-3 scrolls. Every scroll on mobile = -30% conversion, so 2-3 scrolls = -70%. That's why 6,000 visitors → 0 bookings.

Fix: one-screen short form per procedure (20 minutes)

Removed Department, Procedure and Doctor selection. Left only Name, Phone, Date (native calendar). Made separate pages — /booking/implants, /booking/lip-fillers, /booking/emergency-dental — each with a short form, one screen, no scroll. No beauty, just function.

New funnel: Facebook ad for specific procedure → directly to Booking Page per procedure with short form. No Quiz now — direct message match. Time to build: 20 min on Calendly + GoHighLevel.

Result: 5 bookings for $30 + calls in 2-3 days

Same traffic, same ads — only the form and pages changed.

  • >before ~6,000 visitors / 7 days → 0 bookings (0.03% mobile conversion)
  • >after day 2-3 spend $30 → 5 bookings
  • >cost per booking $6 (~€5.5) + calls to clinic incoming
  • >old cac €20.8 per show-up (12 in 14 days, long form + Quiz)
  • >new cac $6 per booking (short per-procedure pages)

Old numbers come from the dental case study Larnaca — 12 patients in 14 days from €250. Note: case is live, updating every 3 days. Call tracking added.

Lesson — beautiful kills yield

Most dental clinics in Cyprus and UK have beautiful booking forms with 5 dropdowns. They look premium but kill mobile conversion. Rule: on mobile, booking must be one screen, no scroll, 3 fields max — Name, Phone, Date. Procedure selection is asked before, not inside booking. Same logic that made the Salon Pro case work: fewer steps, tighter message match.

How to audit your own booking page in 2 minutes

  1. 01 Open your booking page on iPhone and count scrolls. More than 1 → you lose 50%+.
  2. 02 GA4 → Pages and screens → Booking Page → Device. Compare mobile vs desktop % who reach submit.
  3. 03 Fix: remove procedure/doctor/department, make a separate page per procedure, short form, one screen.
